I started watching Community and I loved the first season. Season two is still cool, like this episode 11 in stop-motion-musical (yes, the musical part alone makes it worth it !)

MisFits season three, "Episode two"
I started watching MisFits this summer. This is a Biritsh TV show (and you know it, accent, cars, ...). The story is about a group of people in community service who get struck by lightning and receive powers.
The first and second seasons are really great, and this one is going to be too.
This week was the second episode of the third season (episodes are not named, so it's just "Episode two"), I really enjoyed it, it's really fun, can't wait for the next one !

How I Met Katie Holmes
I was happy to see Katie Holmes in this year's How I Met Your Mother Halloween episode. Reminds me of Dawson's Creek a little bit ;).

Happy Endings
Happy Endings is a show that began in April 2011, I just watched most of the first season and I like it. It's a Friends-like show, funny and fresh.
And it's good to see Eliza Coupe again (she played "Jo" on the TV Show Scrubs during the 8th and 9th seasons).
Here is the link to the official abc page.

Glee pre-Finale "Funeral"
Glee is still brilliant this week, with good emotions.
This episode felt a little differently from other episodes, but I'm not against it, this was great.
I can't wait for next week's episode!

How I Met Your Mother Season 6: Finale
Season Finale for How I Met Your Mother Season 6.
Good but not as good as HIMYM was before, I don't know why but it's not the same feeling.
Season 7 is still gonna be interesting (and we still won't know Ted's wife because Season 8 is already planned).
Next Season in September!

Born this way

This week's Glee episode, "Born This Way" (because of the Lady Gaga song), really touched me. We see some characters weaknesses, and the part about Emma was just so sad.
I like melodramas so I liked this episode very much.
About the music, liked the Barbara Streisand song, not really liked Born This Way (but the dancing with the T-shirts was nice).

Original Song
This Week's Glee Episodes featured original songs, as in "songs written only for the show".
All the previous songs from Glee (the CDs are available and awesome) were cover songs, and I liked many of those versions better than the initial version.
Let's see if we'll see more original versions in later episodes.
I liked the thing between Rachel and Quinn, and even better, Rachel's speech at the end.
Just one small itch, this episode could have been splitted to have two episodes with more drama because I think it still lacked some.

How I Met Your Mother changed style
I think that the two last episodes of HIMYM were quite different than the earlier ones this year. This is maybe because of the writers that created those two episodes, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, thank you.
The most interesting one was the one titled "Last words", I liked it very much. Too bad they kept doing some bad jokes because it felt good to have some change.
(I think that this was something that I liked about Scrubs, it was always in-between jokes and reality, sometimes funny, sometimes sad)
And it's good to have Glee episodes airing again, this one was not too bad. And I always find zombie makeup cool.

Justice League (of Justice?)
Loved the diamond suit. And while I thought that the best number would have been 42, this one is not that bad too.
And I found this link of pictures of TBBT cast titled "Geek Chick". Looks nice.
Those where the last episodes of 2010, see you for next ones in 2011!

A Very Glee Christmas
This week's Glee episode was about christmas.
This was quite fun. I loved the part with Finn and Rachel at the tree store.
An audio CD is available for purchase too, though I'm not sure I really like the songs without the video.
(but I may still get it to have them all).
This was last Glee episode until next year (planned for february 6)!

Our loved shows are airing again!
Some websites are listing a calendar with everything, and it's quite helpful, like http://on-my.tv. (in addition, it's sometimes possible to subscribe to the rss feeds)
The series I'm familiar with were:
- Tuesday: Chuck, House, How I Met Your Mother
- Wednesday: Glee, NCIS
- Thursday: Bones, The Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, CSI
I won't follow everything (for example, I keep some of them aside to watch them on DVD later). I think I'll try some of the new series as well, sometimes you discover some very nice ones!

V

I remember V, back in the eighties. It was new back then, with strange aliens wearing human disguises, eating live mouses and everything. V (movie and tv series) is a Sci-Fi classic.
In 2009, V returned. Yes, they are back!
But they are different than before, it doesn't really look like a Sci-Fi movie, it's more like a conspiracy film. It reminds me Flash Forward (or 4400). The aliens look smarter than before and you know that there is something ongoing.
I only watched the beginning (only the first 3 episodes). The plot looked interesting, like a new vision of the V story, more convincing.
I don't usually enjoy 45-minutes episodes unless something happens in them. But here, it was a little boring, so I think that this is the biggest problem for me.
Now, maybe the second season will be more interesting and will have a better start, but currently it's a little disappointing.

Gossip Girl
The next TV show is Gossip Girl. I have to say that it looked like a show for girls.
But hey, if it's good it's better than a bad "generic" TV show!
So I started with season 1, I didn't expect what came in the first two episodes. This just looked like the film Cruel Intentions, same atmosphere, same context, and everything.
But while Cruel Intentions is a film with a duration of something like 1:30, is quite strong and has a really melodramatic end, I don't think that it will be the same for Gossip Girl, since it's a TV show with multiple seasons.
So the first two episodes really disappointed me, it's not like some shows that you like right from the beginning and you can't stop watching.
One thing that surprised me there was the use of cellphones. I think that it was to stick with the concept, but it looked quite strange for me.
But I'm quite curious, so I couldn't stay there. So I watched a little more (up to episode 5), and I'd say that it's starting to be better and more interesting. The atmosphere feels different and I'd say that it's better that way.
I don't know if I'll continue watching it, but it's not bad.
And if you are interested, you should watch more than just the first two episodes.
Bye!

Private Practice
Summer is here! This means good weather, nice blue sky, sun and... all tv shows are on hold during 2 months!
So, what to do with all the spare time? On my side, I watch series that I didn't watch during the year. This often includes series that I never watched during multiple seasons.
So, here is my first review: Private Practice.

Private Practice is a spin-off of Grey's Anatomy. The main link between the two series is Addison Montgomery, but we can see some other characters from Grey's Anatomy from time to time. The first season of Private Practice starts during the third season of Grey's Anatomy, with Addison leaving Seattle for Los Angeles.
I must say, I'm a big fan of Grey's Anatomy, but back when this started, I wasn't really interested in watching it, so now that I have some time, let's see how it is and what happened during those three seasons.
The atmosphere is really different between Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. Private Practice is more "cool". Since it's a private practice and not a big hospital, each episode only covers few patients, and while big disasters were common in Grey's Anatomy, this rarely occurs here.
So the big show that we had on Grey's Anatomy is kind of gone, but on the other side, there is a stronger relation with patients.
When the show started, I read somewhere that this were targeted at an older public, and I must say that this looks like it. The main thing is about relations between characters, which are more direct than a lot of other series.
So in the end, is it good? Is it worth watching it?
On my side, I'd say that it's interesting to watch. I don't find here the things that made Grey's Anatomy such a good show, but it's still not boring or anything.
(Plus, it's in Los Angeles so it feels like it's summer all the time during the three seasons, which is good because it's summer right now)
For those who disliked Grey's Anatomy, I can't say but I think that you should not because it's still kind of the same spirit behind this.
See you soon!

It's alive!
Okay, so here it is. Once again, I'm setting up a blog. Maybe this time will be the good one.
First of all, I had to choose a display name, I didn't know what to choose between my real name and another anonymous pen name. I choose my real name, this is usual on blogs, we'll see...
Then, an url name. This was hard. Finding something that has some meaning, is not too long and is not yet taken is hard, in particular the last part: something that is not yet taken! But well, I'll maybe explain this one someday.
One last thing, why am I writing this in english? I don't know, I think that this might interest more people that way. Not that I expect it to have some followers, but I don't know.
The last thing is what will this blog be about. Currently I don't really know, a blog can be about anything, or even everything. You'll likely see comments about TV shows, but maybe other things too if I want to.
Enjoy!
